MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – MyAbilities, innovator in smart health technology and workplace safety, is participating in the 2020 DMEC FMLA/ADA employer compliance conference on April 22, 2020. Michael Sonne, PhD, vice president of innovation and research at MyAbilities, is a panellist at the DMEC FMLA/ADA employer compliance conference this year. Although initially planned to take place in Boston, MA on March 23-26, 2020, the panel discussion will now be presented virtually as a result of the recent outbreak of COVID-19. This is a pivotal time to talk about how unforeseen circumstances can impact overall employee health and the way in which people do their work. The panel discussion will be posted to the DMEC website.
“I’m honoured to be a part of this conference,” says Dr Sonne. “Especially when these conversations are so crucial at an unprecedented time. I am excited to discuss the possibilities of artificial intelligence and how it can be implemented as it applies to risk assessment and automation. It has been quintessential in my research and has the potential to teach us more about our bodies and how we can help them.”
The recording will be done on April 22 and made available for those who previously registered for the conference in Boston. Later this year, the 2020 annual DMEC conference is planned to take place from August 3 to 6 in Anaheim, California.
